The Safe Center works with one of the UK’s largest specialist service providers to deliver a proven programme for personalised, stimulating and enriching education. This includes helping students with their visual sequential memory and working to improve their problem-solving, written and communication skills. With an innovative curriculum and proven therapy programmes, the centre is able to meet the unique needs of students every day.

The Emirates Airline Foundation funded the construction of a new state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft. facility that helped increase capacity from just 40 students to over 100. The foundation also funds employee costs and bought a school bus for the centre.

The new facility provides 12 more classrooms, which include quiet rooms, speech and occupational therapy rooms, a sensory room and rooms for art, music and extracurricular activities including a swimming pool, and indoor and outdoor play areas. Its very existence is driven by the Safe Center’s mission to open the doors to as many children with special needs in the UAE as possible.
